Pyin Oo Lwin, Myanmar, 24 May 2024 -- On 23 May 2024, at 06:30 a.m., four young Salesians made their first religious profession in the presence of the superior Fr Bosco Nyi Nyi, SDB at the shrine of MHC in Anisakan-Nazareth school compound. Out of four, two professed as Salesian brothers. The newly professed confreres are:
(1) Bro. Joachim Htoi San Aung, SDB (2) Bro. Maung Cyprian, SDB (3) Cl. Francis Van Lian Thang, SDB, and (4) Cl. Francis Lal Pek Lawn, SDB.
During his homily, Fr Bosco Nyi Nyi stressed the nature of religious vocation, saying “vocation is all about love…” At the end of the mass, he also thanked the Lord for the new Salesian Brother vocations that he had been praying for for many years. At last, the Lord has listened to his prayer today.
There were about 200 participants at the ceremony mass. All the participants were blessed and glad to witness the new vocations that the Good Lord is still sending to the vice-province of Myanmar.
