Don Bosco Formation Center - Lawaan, The Philippines, 22 July 2024 -- In collaboration with Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban, DBFC organized a Summer Skills Training which was held at DBFC Lawaan from July 15 to 20, 2024. The Director of Don Bosco Balamban, Rev. Fr. Brian Butanas, SDB, along with other facilitators, provided skills training to our aspirants and some of our youth leaders from DBYC-Lawaan. The skills they learned included basic welding, electrical installation and maintenance, and basic driving for light vehicles.
This Summer Skills Training, with the theme “Alta Petens: Taking Bolder Steps,” was designed to empower the participants with confidence and proficiency in various technical skills. Through hands-on activities, expert guidance from the facilitators, and a supportive community, the participants were motivated to take bold initiatives and develop a proactive approach to continuing Don Bosco’s mission for young people.
