Hanoi, Vietnam, 2 October 2023 -- On Sunday, 1 October, the Salesians of Nong Vu community opened its new catechetical year for the children. They also celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival. In his message, Father Dominic, head of the community, expressed his joy in welcoming all students and their parents. He invited the students to make a great effort to be faithful to God through weekly classes and Sunday Mass.

This year, there are 100 students to join four levels of catechism. Most of the faithful are from neighboring dioceses working in Hanoi city. Students participate in different catechetical classes every Sunday morning, followed by the Eucharistic celebration. The Salesians also opened other courses, such as Pre-Marriage Course or Liturgy Course, to help young people enrich their lives and fulfill their duties.
