Parañaque City, the Philippines, 15 September 2016—The memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows saw the installation to the ministries of 10 lectors and 14 acolytes in Seminaryo ng Don Bosco.

Fr. Anthony Paul Bicomong, SDB presided the Holy Mass in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows and installed the new lectors and acolytes to their respective ministries. In his homily, Fr. Paul reiterated the role of the lectors and acolytes in the celebration of the sacred liturgies quoting Pope Paul VI who has established the discipline of these formally instituted ministers. He invited them to take Our Blessed Lady as their model--to stand ever closer to Jesus even at the foot of the cross.

We accompany our brothers with our prayers as they continue their initial formation towards priesthood.
