ROME 19 March 2013 -- The pictures say it all, but here are two different perspectives on the beginning of hte Pope francis Pontificate:
The first was a call from the UK:
Q: "Is it true that Pope Francis is a Salesian Past Pupil?"
A: " In fact, yes". From an Argentine Salesian we recieved the following information:
"I confirm that Bergoglio was a pupil at the Ramos Mejia Salesian College (Collegio Wilfrid Baron) for a year, along with his brother. It was probably 1949 if I am not mistaken. This has been confirmed by the Rector of that community, so the phto we have seen is an authentic one".
The second perspective on all this is just a point of interest. There is only eight years of difference between the election of Pope Francis and the election of Pope Benedict XVI, but if anyone was to have any doubts about the digital transformation that has occured in those eight years, compare the photos!
