Add some and change one!
HONG KONG: 2nd June 2005 -- Yet more ordinations to pray for. We add three more from CIN and change a small detail regarding FIS.
On 25th June, Bishop Joseph Zen of Hong Kong will ordain three young Chinese confreres as deacons: Albert Ho Ka-Fai, Thomas Hsueh Jan-Wen and Martin Yip Tai Ho. Bro. Thomas is from Taiwan.
Back to Jerusalem once more to note that Bro. Abundio Bacatan from FIS will be ordained deacon on 12th June with his two companions from Vietnam-PNG; the last post had him being ordained a priest some time later this year which may well be the case but we had to have him orddained deacon first!! The diaconate ordinations will be held at the Church of Gethsemani in Jerusalem.
The latest information from there, too, is that some minor problems, yet again, have meant some cancellations from the Jordan trip. Certain categories, it seems just cannot get visas to Jordan. Just too bad if you are from Africa, Colombia or Vietnam!
