MELBOURNE: 26th January '04 -- Australia's highest civic awards, the Australia Day Awards, announced today in Canberra, included Melbourne member of the Judiciary, His Honour Judge Frank Walsh QC.  Judge Walsh was awarded the second degree of the three-tiered structure, Member in the General Dvision (AM) 'for services to the judiciary and the administration of justice in Victoria and to the community through a range of Church, social support, youth and supporting organisations'.  Judge Walsh has been a leading member of the Don Bosco Youth Foundation Brunswick (he is a past Pupil from the early days of Don Bosco Brunswick) and has been known for the public way he sees his work especially in juvenile justice, stemming from Salesian principles.
Also awarded Member in the General Division was Fr.
