       Provincial House, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 21 November 2021 -- Among 23 new missionaries of the 152nd missionary expedition there are seven from the Vietnam Province. At 10:30 on Monday, 15 November 2021, in the Chapel of the provincial house, Father Barnabas Le An Phong, SDB, the Provincial of the Vietnam Province, presided at the Mass to pray for seven Vietnamese missionaries preparing to go to different missionary lands around the world.

       Attending the Mass were the Salesians from the provincial and Tan Cang communities, along with some relatives of the seven brothers.

       Two of them were sent to Sudan, Africa. They set out on Tuesday night, November 16, and arrived safely. Another two will go to Slovenia, the homeland of Father Andrej Majcen, a Salesian missionary in Vietnam before 1975, and considered the founder of the Salesian family in Vietnam. Three of them were sent to DR Congo.

       Please continue to join in prayer for them to be always enthusiastic about their missionary vocation, and dedicate themselves to serving people in the places where they are sent, so that more and more people especially the young can know God and live the faith fervently.
