Udonthani, Thailand, 2 March 2024 -- On 24 February 2024, the Advisory Council of the Association of the Salesians Cooperators of Thailand, led by Mrs. Navaporn Kitsawat, the Coordinator, went to visit and join in the Spiritual Recollection for fellow Salesian Cooperators of the northeastern region of Thailand. This consisted of 3 groups: Baan Don Bosco, Udonthani, Baan St. Mary, Udonthani, and Baan Wisutthiwong, Phon Sung, and Udonthani, totaling 40 people. Father Smith Daengamphan, SDB, preached the sermon on the theme “Jesus Heals the Blind Man of Jericho" (Mark 10:46-52) at Don Bosco Vitthaya School, Udonthani Province. After the spiritual recollection, there was a meeting of the mobile District Advisory Committee.
For the Salesian Cooperators in Thailand, at present, there are 192 fully-pledged members in 13 various groups, and one group in Phnom Penh, with Mrs Navaporn Kitsawat as the provincial coordinator, Fr Niphon Sarachit SDB as the Salesian delegate and Sr Suphawan Chotiphon for the FMA.
