Don Bosco Formation Center, Lawaan, Talisay City, the Philippines, 27 May 2022 -- Under favorable cool early morning weather, the DBFC community had a successful and meaningful Dawn Rosary Procession from the MHC Garden to the Don Bosco Retreat House on 24 May. It was followed by Holy Mass in honor of the Solemnity of Mary Help of Christians.
The procession and Mass were made more meaningful because of the presence of our regular Mass-goers and the DBYC (Don Bosco Youth Center) members. The songs were beautifully animated by the Aspirants. The Holy Mass was celebrated by Fr. Marco Bollozos, SDB, also celebrating his 12th Anniversary of ordination, and concelebrated by the priest-formators. It was also an opportune time for our 4th-year Aspirants to submit their application letter as they move forward in their formation in the Pre-novitiate.
Overall, it was a happy and festive day of gratitude to our Blessed Mother for constantly leading, protecting, and providing us with more vocations. In the evening, the DBFC Community joined the FIS Province as it celebrates its 30th founding anniversary with a Holy Mass at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes presided by Fr. Fidel Ma. Orendain, SDB (FIS Provincial Superior).
