VinhLong, Vietnam, 31 December 2021 -- Although the epidemic situation is still affecting people’s lives, the Christmas atmosphere is still very clearly expressed at Don Bosco My Thuan Community (VinhLong –Vietnam). Currently, while most educational institutions and schools still have to conduct online teaching, Don Bosco My Thuan Vocational School is still allowed to teaching, learning and activities within the school.
Although they have to fulfill their obligations in studying, the students, especially the 12th graders, still make great efforts to decorate the cave and practice musical performances.
This year’s decorative model, although urgent, is elaborate and majestic. With the theme “Love comes to the world”, the traditional model of the cave of My Thuan community conveys the message of God’s love for people. In addition, the students also decorated some miniatures with the theme “Modern Christmas”, contributing to making the community atmosphere more lively and beautiful.
Christmas Eve at Don Bosco My Thuan community took place fervently and warmly with performances and Mass.
A sacred and meaningful day of the community ended with “Good night” from the Rector: “I hope that, by preparing external things such as caves, mangers ... or miniatures for this Christmas, we are also aware of the need to prepare and decorate our own heart’s cave, to be worthy of God’s dwelling."
