Salesian Family Recollection 2019, FIN

Makati, Manila, Philippines, 12 October 2019 -- The Salesian Family Recollection Day was held last 12 October 2019 at the Joy Center of the Don Bosco Technical Institute Makati. The recollection was led by Fr. Dennis Paez, SDB and it was about “The Family Saved and Saves,” The Practical ways this happens. Fr. Paez emphasized that for a healthy family, we need to use these four phrases frequently: 1. May I? (Patience); 2. Please (Presence); 3. Thank You (Prayer); and 4. I’m Sorry (Pardon). The recollection was followed by the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, with many priests available to hear confession. The recollection was joyfully finished with the Holy Mass concelebrated by many Priests, and the homily delivered by our Fr. Provincial, Fr. Gerry Martin, SDB.
The Salesian Family would like to give thanks to Fr. Favie Faldas, SDB, Rector of Don Bosco Technical Institute Makati for providing us the venue for the Recollection Day.
The Salesian Family are composed of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA), The Salesian Cooperators (ASC), Volunteers of Don Bosco (VDB), Philippine Federation of Don Bosco Past Pupils, Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA), Past Pupils of FMA (FMAPP), and Associacion Damas Salesianas. A total of 328 attendees arrived, with the breakdown by area as follows: 96 from the Paranaque District, 28 from the North District, 62 from the Makati District, 58 from the Central District, and 84 from the South District.
