Taisha, Ecuador - December 2016 - The first Achuar youth meeting was held from 16 to 18 December in the Wichimi communities in the parish of Pumpuentsa-Taisha. It was organized by Fr Agustín Togo, during his pastoral visit. There were 35 young people from 7 indigenous communities near Wichimi who took part in this historic meeting, the first since the beginning of evangelization in the area starting with the first contacts with this people by Fr Luis Bolla, SDB, in 1971.
