Indian Salesian priest’s abductors captured
Kochi; Three terrorists, who belong to the gang that abducted Keralite priest Tom Uzhunnalil and killed 16 people at an old-age home of Missionaries of Charity in Yemen, have been arrested, reports Mathrubhumi newspaper of Kerala.
The terrorists were caught from Saila near Aden in Yemen. According to reports, the arrested terrorists belong to Al-Qaeda.
It was reported earlier that the Islamic State was behind the kidnapping. However, this has not been confirmed.
It was in March that armed terrorists barged into an old-age home run by Missionaries of Charity at Aden in Yemen and shot dead 16 people, including four Indian nuns. These militants later whisked away Fr.Uzhunnalil.
The gang, which announced that they were behind the attack, did not reveal any details about Fr. Uzhunnalil. The whereabouts of Fr. Uzhunnalil is still not clear. The terrorists had recently posted the pictures of Fr. Tom Uzhunnalil on his social media account.
