Lahore, Pakistan -- On 28 September, our Don Bosco boarding school had a visit from the Rev. Fr. Mushtaq Peara, Rector of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Lahore and the person in charge of the Biblical Commission.
He dedicated Saturday afternoon to our boys giving them a Bible lecture. He has encouraged our youth to read the Bible frequently because it contains the word of God and helps us to grow in our experience of Faith. Our hostel boys participated with great enthusiasm.
On Monday 30th we celebrated the graduation of our sewing and stitching workshop for women.
A group of 14 women, including Catholics, Christians and Muslims, were able to receive their graduation diploma.
For the educational community of Don Bosco it is a great joy to be able to offer education also to the young women of our communities, so that they can work and serve the society.
