It is definitely 'ordination' month!

FATUMACA: 18 April 2010 -- On 17 April 2010, in Fatumaca, two clerics, Andre Belo and Belzito de Jesus, were ordained Deacons. Bishop Basilio do Nascimento from the Diocese of Baucau was the ordaining prelate. Fr Andrew Wong, the Regional Superior, who is now in Timor for the consultation of the new superior of the vice province, was also present.
It was simple but solemn with a special choir from Mary Help of Christian’s parish, Comoro, Dili. As well as the parents and relatives of the newly ordained deacons present were also representatives of the young people and the Salesian family from all the communities. The number attending the ceremony was estimated to be around 1000. Currently we have some 10 deacons
preparing themselves for priesthood, including those in the Philippines, Rome and Brazil.
