St. Margaret Mary's Parish has traditionally acted out the "Way of the Cross" largely organised by its Australian and Italian parish membership. Vietnamese parish members designed the occasion, echoing circumstances in Vietnam at the time of the Vietnamese martyrs, while following the traditional 'stations' of the Cross as we know them. A packed church of 500 followed the event intensely - it was all enacted inside the Church. Parish Priest, Fr Anthony Nguyen Huu Quang SDB, was the main celebrant.

The many Australians, Italians and Vietnamese who attended left somewhat red-eyed, moved by the powerful and lifelike presentation of each station.
