AUSTRALIA: PASTORAL INITIATIVE ON THE WEB

MELBOURNE: 26th March -- The Australian Province's Pastoral Animation Team

(PAT) has undertaken a 'web' initiative that our readers may well be

interested in. Hosted at lay-spirituality.com, this initiative offers to

interested persons a variety of links and information on matters pertaining

to Salesian spirituality for lay people, and indeed matters of pastoral

animation generally.

The site exists in its own right, but will be carefully linked to the wide

resources of Bosconet once the webmaster of said Bosconet finds a little

time! But in the meantime you may wish to tune in to lay-spirituality.com

at http://www.lay-spirituality.com and give it a try. PAT is chaired by Fr.

John Prest the Australian Vice Provincial. The website is managed by Mr.

John Cull, a lay member of the PAT team, and a teacher who has spent many

years working alongside the Salesians (at St. Joseph's College Ferntree

Gully)and contributing effectively and generously to the Salesian ethos.

There's opportunity on the site to offer further comment if you wish. It's

early days; the site will 'build' as the Southern Africans say!
