Tokyo, Japan, 4 November 2017 -- VIDES JAPAN, Salesian Sisters Volunteer working groups, held already for the third time the local community festival named "Smile Festa" in Akabane, Tokyo last November 4, 2017. More than 20 VIDES members and FMA Sisters were involved in the preparation of this Festa.

This event was oriented to foster local people's enjoyable community spirit. Within the busy daily life of Tokyo people it's very meaningful for the development of human relationship between local people, children, markets and also young members in VIDES itself.

VIDES, as its mission, works for enlarge many possibility for young people to work using their own talents and grow them up in different kind of social context as Don Bosco himself did in his times.

In spite of the typhoon and many adverse conditions this year, we continue to make these opportunities for youth and fosters conditions for possible apostolic vocations in the future.
