China Salesian Cooperators' Provincial Council elections

HONG KONG: 28th October 2005 --  The Salesian Cooperators from China Province have made a youthful statement through their Provincial Council elections earlier this week.  The newly elected Coordinator is Dominc Chim, founder of the Salesian Young Cooperators at Kowloon Centre.  Another founding member of the SYC, Alex Wong, was also elected to the Council.   The Vice-Coordinator is Shirley Yu, yet another ex-SYC, though living in Macau.
The China Province Cooperators are about 350 in number with 14 Centres spread throughout the SARs of Hong Kong and Macau, and Taiwan.  The only larger group in the EAO region is the Philippines group, though in terms of aspirant numbers (in excess of 200) Korea could outstrip them all!  The EAO reprresentative on the World Advisory Council for the Cooperators is also a member of the China Province ASC - Philip Yu.
