Ba Thon Novitiate, HCM City, Vietnam, 23 November 2022 - - On 11 November 2022, the Salesian Brothers in the Vietnam province had a lively meeting to promote the Salesian Brother vocation at Ba Thon novitiate community.
The program aimed to help the novices deepen their understanding of the Salesian charism's lay dimension; respect and commit to promoting this vocation, as well as to help candidates understand somewhat about Salesian Brother vocation; learn and share more about Saint Artemide Zatti through the recent canonization event.
After the opening session by the Rector of the novitiate, there was a sharing of topics. First, Brother Dominic Ha Anh presented “The holiness of Saint Zatti, and how a Salesian Brother today becomes holy”; Followed by a video presentation about the presence and activities of the Salesian Brothers in the province; Finally, some brothers shared their experiences of the trip to the canonization ceremony of Brother Zatti in Rome.
After that, the Brothers and the novices took souvenir photos, had lunch, and had sports exchanges. At 15:00, everyone summed up, said their thanks then said goodbye.
