Hanoi, Vietnam, 21 July 2022 -- In the line with the Salesian tradition, SDB Nong Vu has opened a summer camp for the youth and children in the locality. Every day more than 50 kids gathered around the church to learn English, to dance, to sing, and to play musical instruments.
After more than one month they are able to perform some simple items, and to accompany the choir at Eucharistic celebrations.
On 19 July, the Nong Vu community, including the Salesians, the kids, some parents, and the board of the sub-parish pastoral council, concluded these summer activities. The children joined in the games, performed the items such as songs and dances, and shared a meal.
A short and simple summer in a little and humble community in Hanoi has come to an end, but the joy and its effect in the minds and hearts of the young people will remain, with the help of God.
