St john Bosco Parish celebrates 50th anniversary

Taipei, Taiwan, 8 February -- This year of 2017 is the milestone for St John Bosco Parish in Taipei, stepping into the 50th year of it's life. Our Catholic community is located in the center of Taipei dedicated in preaching and witnessing the Gospel of Jesus and the service to the community of Taiwan in the spirit of Don Bosco: “Give me souls and take away the rest”.

The Golden Jubilee celebrations were opened on 5th of February having Don Bosco in our midst: the casket with the Relics of Don Bosco arrived from Hong Kong. From 5th February until 16th April 2017 (NB: First Eucharist in St. John Bosco was celebrated on 16th April 1967) we have a wide range of activities to evangelize with the Gospel values:

• Salesian Families Day” on February 11


• Singing Concert on February 25


• Don Bosco Relics are leaving us on February 28


• Hiking in the Mountain on March 11


• Celebration of the First Eucharist for the Salesian Convent on March 18
