Ainaro, Timor Leste, 5 September 2020 -- The Vocation Animation Team led by Fr Isaias Bonifacio SDB has reached out to spread the seed of the Salesian Vocation to the young students at the Diocesan Secondary School of Ainaro. Approximately 200 students - boys and girls - participated in the vocational encounter.
Bro. Filipe da Conceição SDB, as a member of the Vocation Animation Team presented the Life of Don Bosco and the Identity of the SDBs. Fr Aderito da Costa SDB presented the Mission of the SDBs, and Fr Isaias Bonifacio SDB presentedthe Salesian Formation Process.
This Encounter has taken place in collaboration between the Province Vocation Animation Team and the Diocesan Parish Priest of Ainaro, Fr Armindo and the Canossian Sisters in the Community of Ainaro.
The Vice-province of St Callisto Caravario (TLS) at present has three Aspirantates - Junior high school Aspirants in Venilale, Senior high school (Assales) in Fatumaca and Dili-Comoro, CENTEC based Aspirantate for candidates from non-Salesian settings. We pray for the growth of Salesian vocation culture in this Catholic country!
