Institution to the Ministries of Lector and Acolyte

Parañaque City, the Philippines, 14 September 2018 -- Nine lectors and eight acolytes were instituted to their respective ministries on the Feast of the Triumph of the Cross in the chapel of Seminaryo ng Don Bosco.

The newly instituted lectors are:

• Adnan Alfred, SDB [FIN]
• Antonio Maria Jose Guterres, SDB [TLS]
• Arnel Jason Mengote, SDB [FIS]
• Cyril Vincent Noel, SDB [FIN]
• Joseph Sian Biak Mung, SDB [MYM]
• Kanty Nan Khan Mang, SDB [MYM]
• Leo Polutan, SDB [FIS]
• Reynante Sabelita, SDB [FIS]
• Simon Louis, SDB [MYM]

While the new acolytes are:

• Erwin Joey Cabilan, SDB [FIS]
• Seminarian Braindel Rene Cabañog [from the Diocese of Parañaque]
• Ferdinandus Ola Amang, SDB [INA]
• Marisal Dilan, SDB [LKC]
• Myo San Aung Peter, SDB [MYM]
• Abele Nee Reh, SDB [MYM]
• Viktorius Koli Koten, SDB [INA]
• David Ezikeigwe, MLCC

Rev. Fr. Anthony Paul Bicomong, SDB, FIN Provincial Superior presided over the mass and the rites of institution. He reflected upon the centrality of the cross in the religious life and most especially in the ministries of the Church where one finds himself. Joining the Salesians are Seminarian Braindel Cabañog of the Diocese of Parañaque who resides in SnDB and Bro David, MLCC their classmate in Don Bosco Center of Studies (DBCS).

Present in the holy mass are the confreres from the DBCS—Rinaldi Community. We accompany them with our prayers as they continue their journey towards their priestly ministry.
