Generalate, Rome, 2 October 2016 -- On the Feast of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, Patroness of all Missionaries and the Missions, we would like to give you some data on the Members of the 147th Salesian Missionary Expedition.

• Cl. Cirilo Patricio DE DEUS, 28 years old, is from Ducurai, Ermera (Timor Leste - ITM Vice Province). He did 2 years of practical training in Fuiloro. Now the Rector Major sends him to Belgium (BEN).
 
• Cl. Joseph Phuc Huu DANG , 29 years old, is from Dong Nai (Vietnam). Before joining the Salesians he had studied Information Technology. He has just finished the postnovitiate formation in Dalat. Now the Rector Major sends him to Nigeria (AFW Vice Province) but will first go for a full year of English language course in Ireland.
 
• Cl. Vincent Vinh Hien TRAN , 31 years old, is from Lam Dong (Vietnam) . Before joining the Salesians he had studied Business Management. He has just finished the postnovitiate formation in Dalat. Now the Rector Major sends him for a full year of English language course in Ireland in view of being assigned to a country in Europe.
 
• Cl. Paul Ky Quan Dai TRAN , 27 years old, is from Khanh Hoa (Vietnam). Before joining the Salesians he had studied Industrial Electricity. He has just finished the postnovitiate formation in Dalat. Now the Rector Major sends him to Nigeria (AFW Vice Province) but will first go for a full year of English language course in Ireland.
 
• Br. Jose Maria CASTILLO, 31 years old, is from Canlubang, Laguna (Philippines - FIN). He was the economer of the Postnovitiate in Canlubang. Now the Rector Major sends him to the Province of Manaus, Brazil (BMA), however he will first attend the 3 months course on Missionary Ministry at the UPS, Rome.

• Cl. Agostinho Julião DOS SANTOS, 29 years old, is from Triloca, Baucau (Timor Leste - ITM Vice Province). After a year of missionary experience in Papua New Guinea, he applied to be sent to the missions. Now the Rector Major sends him to the same Vice Province of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands (PGS).
 
• Fr. Gabriel CRUZ, 39 years old, is from México (México - MEM). He was Rector of the aspirantate in Puebla for 3 years. This year he concluded his 2nd term as Rector of the Postnovitiate in Huipulco-Tlalpan. Now the Rector Major sends him to Pakistan (FIS). While awaiting his visa he will take up Islamic studies in Rome.
 
• Br. Reto WANNER, 44 years old, is from Winterthur, (Switzerland - GER). Before joining the Salesians he had studied Engineering and did volunteer service in Don Bosco Technological Insitute, Boroko East. Upon returning he joined the Salesians in Germany. Now the Rector Major sends him to the new Vice Province of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands (PGS).
 
• Cl. Peter Nguyen Minh DUC , 33 years old, is from Nghe An (Vietnam). Before joining the Salesians he had studied Economics. He was a member of the 146th missionary expedition last year. After a full year of English language course in Ireland the Rector Major now sends him to the newly established Pacific Delegation (AUL).
