The SIHM (Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary) in Thailand ended their General Chapter XI on February 6, 2015.

Sr. Maliwan Paramathawirote was elected as the new Superior General. Her councilors are:

  • Vicar General and Councillor for Ongoing Formation - Sr. Sompong Thabping

  • Councillor for Initial Formation - Sr. Panarat Phengpinit

  • Councillor for Mission and Youth Ministry - Sr. Suphawadee Khaengkit

  • Councillor for Education - Sr. Araya Panusri

  • Councillor for Financial Administration - Sr. Utsanee Hembutr

  • Councillor for Secretariate - Sr. Thidapen Charatsri


The new Superior General asked for prayers that for the next five years " the Holy Spirit transform our heart so that we will be effective instruments of God to proclaim good news to all for the new Evangelization in our mission."
