Bangkok, Thailand, 23 August 23 2018 -- Fr. Ekasit Talhakultorn who is in charge of Catechism for the THA province invited people who are in charge of Catechism of Salesian Family in Thailand which consist of Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA), the Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (SIHM), the Sisters of the Queenship of Mary Immaculate (SQM), and the Daughters of the Queenship of Mary Immaculate (DQM) to assemble at the Salesian Provincial office in Bangkok.
In this meeting, there are the aims to contribute to the Catechetical Commission of Salesian Family in Thailand and to facilitate in the collaborations of catechesis and evangelization. In this time, Fr.Thepharat Pitisant, Salesian Provincial, came to open the meeting and to give remarks about the cooperation in the Salesian Family in Thailand.
Thai Salesian Student has received a piano golden award.
Hatyai, Thailand. 12 August 2018 -- Mr. Worachot Tanwinit has received a golden award in Singapore Asia Youth Piano Competition. He is an 11th grade student of Saengthong Vitthaya School. He has started his piano since the age of 4. He always takes part in school activities , and is currently taking piano course at our school. He is also being a member of School Marching band, positioning as a Color Guard.
As Don Bosco always encouraged the young to take part in music. We Salesian use music as an instrument to educate and to coach our students just like the way he did.
