MANILA - Batulao: In late October, members of the Asia-Australia Region involved with Social Communications met South of Manilla at the Batulao Retreat Centre (Resort is an equally appropriate term) to discuss future plans for development of Salesian communications within the region. Elements of that meeting have been reported elsewhere (Boscolink, Oct 25th). Amongst other things, it has been noted that there is an increasing use of the internet by Salesians, indviduals and communities within the region. Fr. Martinelli asked Fr. Julian Fox, of Australia, to pen some thoughts re the preparation of homepages by Salesians.
