Amongst the ten most consulted books in the Biblioteca Digital Hispánica (BDH), are four from the Madrd-based Salesian Publisher, CCS.

MADRID: The Biblioteca Digital Hispánica (BDH) (www.bne.es) is an online resource of the Biblioteca Nacional de España (BNE), which offers free access to thousands of digitalised documents. Currently there are 17,500 free-access works, according to information on their web page. At the same time, the ENCLAVE Project has been developed by the 'Federación de Gremios de Editores' and the BNE to place at the disposal of the public other copyrighted works. This is the project that a number of Publishers are taking part in, amongst them CCS and Edebé.
According to data on the progress of ENCLAVE, which lists 1100 titles, in these early months of the platform's operation there has been increased access to various collections of books both free and at cost (those included in project ENCLAVE).
Amongst the 60 most consulted titles in BDH, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 8th place are taken by titles published by CCS. These are “Los cristianos en la historia” (Christians throughout history), “El grito de los adolescentes” (The Adolescents' cry), “30 consejos prácticos para educar hoy” (30 practical pieces of advice on education today) and, in 8th place, “Navegando por los mares de la solidaridad” (Navigating the oceans of solidarity).
By accessing BDH or web project ENCLAVE, one can consult the file collections of books and gain access to the distributing platform for electronic books where these books may be bought. In the CCS case, www.todoebook.com . There you will find a hundred or so electronic books from this Publisher, on Don Bosco, Salesian pedagogy, education, ministry, etc.
Aware that the digital book is the future, CCS is working at its presence in these new formats which spread culture. It's in their genes, one could say in this case. The Salesian Founder, St John Bosco, wanted to be in the vanguard of technology in reference to communication. Halfway through the 19th century, he promoted publishing, built up graphics arts workshops and took part in industrial exhibitions in order not to be left behind in what, in his time, were the latest in communications technologies.
