Day 5 in CIN

Hong Kong, 15 August 2019 -- The Rector Major, Fr. Angel Fernandez, coming from the animation visit to Taiwan, arrived in Hong Kong at about 3:30 pm today accompanied by Fr Vaclav Klement - EAO Councilor, Fr Domingos Leong - CIN Vicar and Fr Horacio Lopez - his secretary. They went directly to the Salesian Missionary House in Shau Kei Wan, where Salesian youth, some members of the Salesian Family, young and old confreres of the province welcomed the 10th Successor of Don Bosco enthusiastically with flags, banners，shout, dance, photos, handshakes and embraces headed by CIN Provincial, Fr Joseph Ng. He told the Salesian youth to be happy always and that he will talk to them again tomorrow for their next encounter at the Tang King Po School, Kowloon.
He, then, prepared himself to meet the Provincial Council for a heart-to-heart dialogue and accompaniment that lasted for two hours, where Br Jean Paul Muller - the Economer General was also present. He thanked God for the many graces bestowed in the province and asked Mary, as we celebrate Her Assumption into Heaven, for guidance and protection. He took the meal with them and continued the fraternal colloquy at table.
