EAO, 18 January 2024 -- The EAO regional team of the Salesian Family is glad to invite the Salesian Family members in the 23 countries of East Asia - Oceania region, belonging to 16 different SF groups for the already traditional two days of 'coming together'. During the four days of the Valdocco World meeting of the SF, the EAO team, since January 2021, and now for the fourth time, has been preparing a rich 'home made' program with the participation of all 12 SDB provinces in this region.

In his welcoming message, Fr Joseph Nguyen Thinh Phuoc (EAO regional councilor) shares: 'Each of us, SF members, needs to learn how to find our specific calling and persevere in the appropriate journey for the whole life.' Indeed, the whole two programs inspire in the vocation key.

Outstanding sharing from all corners of the vast EAO region comprise this time welcoming dance, Strenna video presentation, talks by Br Paolo SDB (UPS), Sr Linda FMA (Italy), Fr Joebeth Vivo (FIN-RMG), Round table, SF groups presentation (Damas Salesianas and MSMHC), Prayers and Goodnight.

Those who contributed to the 2024 program are heading from Taiwan, Myanmar, PNG, Japan, Macau-China, Timor Leste, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. Amongst the SF groups contributed the SDB, FMA, Don Bosco Past Pupils, MSMHC, ADMA, Salesian Cooperators, and Damas Salesianas.

Don't miss this occasion in LIVE streaming, although anybody can follow later on also beside original English, in other 7 EAO languages (Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Mongolian, Tetum, Thai, and Vietnamese).

We are grateful to the guidance of Br Dominic Nam and the EAO Salesian Family team made up of technicians, translators and those who contributed with their short videos to the 2-hour program.
