Phnom Penh (Cambodia) - Anisakan (Myanmar), 5 August 2022 -- Marking the 150th anniversary of their Institute the FMA Sisters (Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco) in their CYM province comprising Cambodia and Myanmar share their contribution to this Jubilee celebrations.

       In Cambodia, after almost 30 year of FMA presence (since December 1992), the Salesian Sisters opened their first formation house with two Khmer junior Sisters, two novices and two aspirants (Community of Blessed Eusebia Palomino). In this way their charism is becoming more deeply rooted. Beside their mission in 4 communities (4 kindergartens, 2 Elementary schools, 1 Higher secondary school and 2 Vocation Training centers) this a great leap forward. At present there are 4 Khmer sisters and 27 FMA missionaries from many continents.

       In Myanmar, with their 5 religious communities, FMA sisters are happy to share their 'home made 150 Jubilee song' (English and Burmese), composed by 'Mark' (lyrics) with singers 'Nov. Rose Mary Myint and Nov. Cecilia Ja Seng Mai, edited by SDB and organized by FMA Myanmar SC team. A beautiful music video in two languages is already available on the YouTube for today's Feast.

       We congratulate the FMA Sisters all around the EAO region and pray for the vocational and charismatic growth in this 150th anniversary year.
