Tam Hai, Vietnam, 7 August 2022 -- In order to train children in discipline, solidarity, the ability to get along with everyone and especially love for their family, on July 23 and 24, 2022, the Catechism Department of Don Bosco Tam Hai Parish organized a summer camp program at Don Bosco Can Gio Community with the theme: "Loving family".

This program is a form of reward for the children who have done well in this summer, and at the same time helps them have the experience of campfire activities, and big games in a new land. This year, the programinvolved about 270 children, from grade 3 and up.

From 14:30 to 21:00, on July 23, the children were immersed in a camp atmosphere with exciting activities and competitions: camp entry, tent decoration contest, circle games, campfire games, team performances. At the same time, the children also had moments to settle their souls with the recitation of the rosary and a minute of reflection at the end of the day guided by Deacon Joseph Ho Chinh with the theme: "Family is everything".

On July 24th, the children started their day with the spirit of Thanksgiving in the Mass at 6:15 am presided over by Father John Bosco Vu Tien Dung. After that, the children entered into an exciting day of fun with the Big Game, a Gameshow on the theme of family. The educated lessons incorporated in these games have left the children with unforgettable emotions and impressions.

The camp day ended at 1 pm with the award distribution, the sending ceremony, and the thank you notes from the children's representatives. After that, the children returned to Tam Hai Parish in peace and joy after two days of living in healthy and useful activities, helping them to have valuable baggage to firmly walk on the path of life, especially knowing how to love parents and family more.
