Vietnam 13 September 2022 -- On September 5 and 6, schools for poor students from grade 1 to grade 9 in the province of Don Bosco Vietnam opened a new school year.
Don Bosco Ba Thon Community has 160 students. Don Bosco Xuan Hiep Community has 480 children. Don Bosco Vinh Hiep Community has 77 children. Don Bosco Tac Van community has 20 children. Don Bosco Tam Hai parish has 400 children. Don Boco Da Lat has 148 children.
Schools for poor students are a feature of the Don Bosco communities in Vietnam, which are being focused on taking care of students with special needs. Most of them live in families with problems such as parents’ divorce, poverty, orphans, etc. In Salesian houses they have opportunities to study and receive good education for a better future.
