Thank you for your message.
I am thinking about how to take our attitude toward the ethics as a Christian especially for bioethics.
We have to think about our lives deeply and treat them as a precious thinn we are given from God. But at the same time, we have to consider this modern situation. We have a lot of effective technology and they have many high quality systems for our lives. And our moral values are changed from what they were. So we have to think about "aggiornamento" as Vatican II said.
Suicide is very big problem in Japan.
I think what churches can do is to make contact with the people
who cannot have any access to the people
they can talk with and are isolated form others.
I want to approach this kind of social problem too.
