Lahore, Pakistán, 14 september 2019 -- On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of The Foundation of our house in Lahore we have thanked God and celebrated the Salesian presence in Pakistan.
This celebration was honored with the visit of Pakistan's Apostolic Nuncio Christophe Zakhia El-Kassis and the Archbishop of the city of Lahore Sebastian Shaw.
Our students, school and technical school staff, our hostel boys, close friends, the Salesian Cooperators group and our candidates for religious life, also atended the Solemn Celebration.
During the day our guests of honor blessed and unveiled the commemorative plaque of the event, presided over the Holy Mass and enjoyed the artistic program prepared by our candidates and students.
We were able to recall the origins of the Salesian work in Pakistan especially our beloved pioneers Fr. Hans and Fr. Pietro Zago.
It was a very beautiful day for all of us, especially because we were able to thank God for his blessings during these years of service to Pakistani children and young people. We have asked God to continue to bless us and help us continue doing His will.
