Anisakan, Myanmar, 13 November 2023 -- On 11 November 2023, a seminar on media awareness for neighborhoods was organized by the Social Communications and Salesian Family Commissions at Don Bosco Provincialate, Anisakan. The event began at 9 o’clock in the morning. About 100 neighborhoods, including some religious and married couples, were present at the event.
During his talk, the delegate for Social Communications, Fr. Andrea Maung Maung, SDB, stressed digital safety and the advantages and disadvantages of the internet. At the end of the seminar, the participants came to know how the Internet works and how it is controlled by certain organizations. Some practical guidelines for safe and responsible use of the internet were clearly introduced to them.
Many of them appreciated it very much. This is why much good feedback was given to the speaker.
Refreshment was also served to all the participants at the end.
