Yamanaka, Japan, 16 November 2018 -- Surrounded by nature, by a lake with Mt. Fuji in view, East Asia and Oceania Regional (EAO) Formation Commission is having their bi-yearly meeting at the FMA Sisters’ retreat house in Yamanaka, Japan from November 15 to 18, 2018.
Father Ivo Coelho the General Councilor for formation and his right hand Fr Silvio Roggia together with 27 salesians from 13 provinces (Province, Vice-province and Delegation) are attending the meeting.
In the morning Mass of the first day, Father Jacob Hamaguchi, the provincial of Japan extended words of welcome to all delegates and gave thanks to God and to Don Bosco for the beautiful occasion.
The temperature outdoors is low, more or less 5 degrees. But inside, the meeting room is full of energy. Every member is eager, waiting for his turn, to share their experiences and challenges and hoping to imitate the good practices of others.
