Thibaw, Myanmar, 14 June 2021 -- On 27 May 2021, Fr Henry Dau Hawng, SDB was installed by our provincial Fr Bosco Nyi Nyi, SDB, as the Rector of the Pre-novitiate in Thibaw for the three-year term. We had a simple and beautiful celebration involving all the confreres from Thibaw community, Sisters of Charity (SCCG) together with their boarding girls, parishioners, our boarding boys and our 9 aspirants. We had a Eucharistic celebration at 10:00 a.m. followed by a short program congratulating the new Rector.

All the participants enjoyed lunch together in the seminary hall, sharing life-experiences with one another. We were happy that we could make this special event happen amidst the deadly Covid 19 issues and our critically political unrest. We still give thanks and praises to the Good Lord for showering His many blessings on our vice-province of Myanmar.
