Anisakan, Myanmar, 8 September 2019 -- After the simple but meaningful celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the FMA presence in our country we are happy to share a simple memorial publication: "FMA Sisters - 25 years in Myanmar": Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice - Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco - Daughters of Mary Help of Christians.
The colour printed booklet of 80 pages simply collects the Silver Jubilee messages from the Bishops, Salesians, FMA superiors and presents all five FMA communities in our country - Mornese (Anisakan, 1994), Maria Romero (Pyin Oo Lwin, 2000), Laura Vicuna (Chanthagon, 2006), Auxilium community (7th Mile Yanon, 2010) and St. John Bosco community (Hlang Thar Yar Yangon 2016). The publication offered us a good opportunity to present Mother Mazzarello, her spirituality and the short dynamic history of our Institute in Myanmar, now as part of CYM (Cambodia-Myanmar) FMA province with its provincial house in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The last part of the memorial publication is dedicated to our benefactor - mainly the families of FMA who made this Silver Jubilee gift possible with their contributions. Our history is ongoing and so we conclude this simple booklet with the Magnificat of Mother Mary!
