"Being At the Side of Jesus" [Jn 8, 2-11]

Bangkok, Thailand, 27 July 2021 -- On 24 July 2021, the Salesian Cooperators held the online annual spiritual retreat animated by Fr. Peter Niphon Sarachit, the provincial chaplain, on the theme "Being At the Side of Jesus" [Jn 8, 2-11].
The preacher shared a thought that "some people step on others so that they can rise up higher, faulting others in order to hide one's own faults and sins; but Jesus, the God of Love, does not do this because He knows that all persons have faults; He knows of a person's ungodly and sinister plans; He does not punish, He heals, He helps, He treats, He remedies and saves from sins, from hopelessness; He brings the person back to goodness to become one who loves God..."
At the end of the spiritual recollection, there was also the renewal of the promises of the Salesian Cooperators and praying the rosary together.
Moreover, at the end of the spiritual recollection, Fr. John Lissandrin, the spiritual animator of the Salesian Cooperators from Sarasit School, together with Mrs. Supha Jitdamrongchai and Mr. Chan Phuenghua, visited the elderly and sick members, namely, Mrs. Chanya Prasootsaengjant, Mr. Sakol Chunfung, and Mr. Manat Phliphloy.
For the Salesian Cooperators in Thailand, at present there are 192 full-pledged members in 13 various groups, and one group in Phnom Penh, with Mr. Pornsawat Lertvitayavivat as the provincial coordinator, Fr Peter Niphon Sarachit SDB as the salesian delegate and Sr Suphawan Chotiphon for the FMA.
