General House, Rome -- On July 16, 2016 the Rector Major Fr. Angel F. Artime handed over to the newly appointed Superior of the ITM Vice-province his Road map 2022. Fr. Apolinario is the 38th Provincial appointed by the present Rector Major.

After his appointment and recent installation he was called as every new provincial to the General House. During past five days he hold a personal encounter with the Successor of Don Bosco, his Vicar and the 5 Councilors for the Sectors (Formation, Youth Ministry, Social Communications, Missions and Economy) for the first time. During these days were present another two new provincials - one from Africa (ZMB) and one from South Asia (INP).

The new Road Map for the ITM Vice-province has 14 strategical issues for the Provincial and his Council, that help to focus in the animation and government of the provincial community during next 6 years. This tool also serves as a point for the whole general council for accompanying the provincial in near future and guarantee more effective communion with the Rector major and the whole Congregation.

For the young ITM Vice-province (50% of the confreres are still in initial formation) the focus is on growth in Formation (formation of formators, qualifications of the confreres and stronger formation equips) as well in closer accompaniment of the Indonesia Delegation.

Upon the invitation of the Rector Major Fr. Apolinario was able to visit Europe, Italy and the Holy places in Rome for the first time in his life. Last Saturday he was accompanied by the ITM 'Rome diaspora' confreres on his Jubilee Year Pilgrimage to the Basilica of St. Peters.
