       Vietnam 23 September 2021 -- Located in an area less affected by the Covid 19 epidemic, therefore, on this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival, 21 September 2021, children in Don Bosco Khop Parish (DucCo District, GiaLai Province) received a lot of joy in the Mid-Autumn Festival Program with the theme “The Moon of Peace”. The number of children participating in this event was about 500 from 3 villages: Khop Village, Ba Village, and Deng Village.

       In addition to the lion dance and cultural performances, the children also received gifts as an indispensable part of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

       Thanks to God and thanks to the Rector, Salesians and the young people of the Khop village community, for giving the children a cozy and peaceful evening.

       Meanwhile, in the Novitiate Community, also at 7:30 p.m, on September 21, the novices had a presentation of their own lanterns. Participating in this presentation, there were the presence of the Rector, the novitiate Master, other Salesians in the community.

       This year, the Novices couldn’t go to a youth center to organize fun activities, so they sent them 150 mid-autumn gifts. Morever, they also sent prayers to the young people. These prayers were written and pasted on the lanterns.

       This is the first time, this activity has taken place in Novitiate Community, and it has brought much holy joy to everyone.

       Program was ended at 9 p.m with the goodnight talk of Fr. Peter Nguyen Doan Ngan, SDB.
