Lahore, Pakistan, 27 April 2020 -- Pakistan, like the entire world, is affected by coronavirus-19. The most vulnerable population affected by this disease has undoubtedly been that of religious minorities, including Christians (Catholics and Protestants). In some places, even they have been excluded from government food support, just because they are not Muslims.

Our Christian communities are poor, people live off daily work and because of the lockdown many families have run out of food sustenance.

The Salesian community has asked benefactors for help in supporting some of the families of Youhanabad in Lahore with food pantries.

Gradually we have been able to distribute some food packets so that our Christian community can continue to survive until this pandemic is over.

We warmly thank the people who have collaborated with their support.
