       The Philippines (FIN), 1 May 2023 -- On the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker, the Salesian Society of St. Francis de Sales Philippines - North Province (FIN) is grateful for the gift of eight confreres who committed themselves to following Christ forever in the footsteps of Don Bosco through Perpetual Profession at the National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians in Parañaque.

       They are:

Cl. Joao Soares Henriques (TLS)

Cl. Mateus Amaral de Oliveira Soriano (TLS)

Cl. Jojo Agar Villanueva (FIN)

Cl. Francis Zaw Din (MYM)

       Fr. Gerardo Martin, SDB, the Provincial Superior, presided over the Rite of Profession, incorporated in the Holy Mass.

       The solemn event was attended by the professandi’s family members, friends, members of the Salesian Family, and young people from different Salesian houses, particularly vocation prospects from Don Bosco Makati and Tarlac., Cl. Zaw Din gave the gratitude speech on behalf of the group towards the end of the Mass.

       The reception was held in the Seminaryo ng Don Bosco, consisting of lunch and some presentations from the guests of the professandi.

       At the end of the day, the community of the Seminaryo prayed the Holy Rosary in gratitude for the continuous guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary to her sons and daughter.
