Manila, Philippines, 21 January 2023 -- As we do every year, also in January 2023 we have a specail 'Yeast Strenna'-shaped Novena to Saint John Bosco from the CDB (Con Don Bosco - DB Secular Institute of Men) in the Philippines. The author made a very inspiring effort to help to pray the 'Yeast Strenna of 2023' during these 9 days with the help of many lay and youth models in the large Salesian Family:
- Day 1 - Our Youth as Influencers
- Day 2 - The Salesian Family on a Mission
- Day 3 - The Yeast in mutuality of hearts
- Day 4 - Centered in God amidst lights and shadows
- Day 5 - Need for responsible sons and daughters
- Day 6 - Sanctifying the World from within
- Day 7 - Communion in the Salesian Family
- Day 8 - Salesian Saints as beautiful fruits of the large tree
- Day 9 - Young People's Social Role Today
Thanks for this precious prayer initiative. These 24 small pages help us to love more Don Bosco, to follow him more closely, to study him better and especially to pray to him - to be better disciples and missionaries of Jesus, like our Father and Founder. Thank you so much!
