Hua Hin, Thailand, 7 March 2024 -- The Salesian Confreres of Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos held their annual spiritual retreat from 24 February - 2 March 2024 [1st group] and from 3-9 March 2024 [2nd group] under the theme “Active Presence: Continuing the Legacy of 100 Years” This was preached by Bishop Patrick Buzon S.D.B., Bishop of Bacolod [Negros Occidental], Philippines, at the Salesian Retreat House in Hua Hin, Prachuabkhirikhan.

The retreat focused on the Salesian vocation. The preacher led the retreatants to reflect on Consecrated Life, Sequela Christi, Prayer, Communion, Pastors of Youth, Sacrament of Reconciliation, the Eucharist, Sense of Church, and Mary Help of Christians.

Each year, the Salesians would hold their spiritual exercises for six days to replenish their zeal for the ministry and revisit their relationship with the Lord. Aside from this, the days of the spiritual retreat were also occasions for the confreres assigned to Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos to meet and share experiences.
