       Kokopo, New Britain, PNG, 3 May 2022 -- Students of Don Bosco Technical and Secondary School marked International Earth Day by cleaning the city of Kokopo on Saturday, 23 April.

       This activity followed a program on Servanthood and Leadership that was organized by the school with the objective to allow students to be sensitive to the well-being of our Common Home, in the sense of volunteerism, and to be leaders in the future.

       A sincere thank you to all the teachers who helped in the realization of this program and our gratitude to the leaders of the District of Kokopo for their assistance throughout the day.

       Let's continue to take care of our Common Home, let's continue to take care of our city, not only during the celebration of International Earth Day but every day.

       International Earth Day is a global celebration that is commemorated annually on 22 April. This year’s theme is ‘Invest in our Planet.’
