Anisakan, Pyin Oo Lwin, Myanmar, 12 December 2022 -- On December 09 2022, all the confreres all over Myanmar gathered in the hall of the Provincialate to listen to the presentations of the different commissions. The event began with the opening prayer and the welcome speech of Fr. Leo, SDB who is the vice-superior and the delegate for the Formation Commission. Afterwards, he continued sharing the main contents of the joint meeting of EAO Formation and Social Communication sectors which took place in Hua Hin, Thailand, recently. Fr. Dominic Aung Ko Myint also reechoed what he learned from the one-month course for the formation of the formators organized in India a few weeks ago.
After that, Fr. Camillus Suan, SDB, the delegate for Youth Ministry, presented the core messages of the EAO Youth Delegates Meeting held in Vietnam. Fr. Henry Dau Hawng SDB, the delegate of Salesian Mission, also shared the EAO Mission Delegates Meeting held in Philippines. Furthermore, Fr. Victor Khun Myat Aung, SDB, the delegate of Finance Commission delivered the gist of information from the SDB Change of Congress held in Rome, while Fr. Andrea Maung Maung, SDB, the delegate for Social Communication, presented the actions of the Province Social Communication Plans to the audience. After him, the two Salesian Brothers, namely Bro. Stephen Pau, SDB and Bro. James Mung Aung, SDB proudly shared their experiences of the canonization of St. Artimedes Zatti which they witnessed in person in Rome.
In the afternoon, a festive football match between the two groups of perpetually professed confreres was organized in Nazareth Compound. In the evening, Fr. Bosco Nyi Nyi, SDB, the superior, gave a short conference with brotherly love and fatherly care. The day was beautifully ended with Christmas Carols of the different communities presented to the superior of the vice-province.
